Working with Sama Aqlan over the years has been an absolute pleasure. She’s reliable, dedicated, and always puts her heart into every project. She makes everyone, (youth, adults, or elders), feel heard and respected. She’s also a confident speaker who brings warmth and motivation into every room. Seeing her launch Bridge of Hope feels like the perfect next step. It reflects who she is: uplifting, inclusive, and deeply committed to creating positive change.

Working with Sama and Bridge of Hope has been such a special experience for me. From the start, it’s felt like more than just a partnership—it’s a friendship built on trust, support, and shared goals. We always take time to talk, plan, and make sure every event or program is meaningful for the women and families we serve. Whether it’s organizing an event, running a class, or just supporting each other, you’re always thoughtful, creative, and dedicated. I really appreciate how we communicate openly, help each other out, and work as a team. It’s always a joy to be part of what you’re building, and I’m proud to support Bridge of Hope.

I'm so grateful for Sama’s time, effort, and the sincerity she brings to every class. Not only does she lead the weekly classes but also camps, events, parties, etc. Whether it's within the community or just overall, she always exceeds expectations. I honestly look up to her in so many ways. She's very smart, emotionally intelligent and hardworking. Her words and her good vibes always leave people around her feeling happy and bright. Over the years, attending her events has influenced the way I think and live day-to-day.

The winter camp was honestly amazing, and a big reason for that was Sama. We played a lot of fun games and learned a lot of skills. She was always super nice and helped everyone out all the time. If someone was feeling left out or upset she'd notice and make them feel better right away. She made everything more fun just by being there. You could tell she really cared about us and treated us like her family and she made the whole camp feel like one big friend group. Overall, she brought all happy and good vibes to the camp and I'm really glad I got to be there with her.

Sama, you are such a kind, positive, and warm-hearted person. You have a unique way of connecting with kids , my kids absolutely adore you—they are genuinely attached to you in a way that’s hard to describe. With your sincerity and gentle approach, you are able to communicate your message clearly and simply at their level. Your encouragement helps them grow in confidence.

Me and the fellow girls gained valuable life skills. We had fun but were learning meaningful life lessons at the same time that it never felt like an educational camp but something that we all chose to attend. Without these events, I wouldn’t have been able to strengthen my connection within the community and how much impact these activities have had on me through my life whether that is serving others with sincerity or respect.
